The whole story.

MEET THE CANDIDATEFOOD & GOURMET
2026 CANDIDATEHeartland Mill
Organic All Purpose Flour
Heartland Mill identifies its flour range, including all-purpose flour, as certified organic unless otherwise marked.
- The state connection
- Grower-owned mill based in Marienthal, Wichita County, Kansas.
- What to know
- The purchase link is a retailer; package format and availability may differ. This is a baking-gift ingredient, not a finished gift set.
WHAT USERS & REVIEWERS SAY Some use evidence
Experienced bakers on The Fresh Loaf describe repeat use and positive product/service experiences with Heartland Mill.
Scope: Mill and flour family; not independent testing of the current all-purpose bag.
Keep in mind: The discussions are older and include other flour varieties. Shipping cost can outweigh a small gift purchase.

MEET THE CANDIDATECOFFEE & TEA
2026 CANDIDATEPT's Coffee
Takengon Atu Lintang Organic Coffee
The product page identifies this coffee as certified organic by OCIA.
- The state connection
- PT's has Topeka, Kansas roots and roasts in Kansas; the coffee is grown in Sumatra.
- What to know
- Kansas is the roasting and business connection, not the growing origin. Coffee-lot availability can change before Christmas.
WHAT USERS & REVIEWERS SAY Further review needed
Coffee enthusiasts recommend PT’s and describe enjoying other PT’s coffees, but no independent owner or tasting assessment of this Takengon lot was found.
Scope: Roaster level only.
Keep in mind: Do not transfer praise for Ad Astra, Guatemala or another seasonal lot to this specific coffee. An exact-lot review or current alternative is needed.

MEET THE CANDIDATEKITCHEN & COOKING
2026 CANDIDATEPT’s Coffee × notNeutral
White Lino Mug — 10 oz
Reusable fine-porcelain mug that can replace disposable cups during repeated home or office use.
- The state connection
- A PT’s Coffee branded mug sold by the Kansas roaster; designed by notNeutral. Kansas manufacturing is not claimed.
- What to know
- Selected for ordinary reuse, with no recycled-content or certified material claim. Environmental benefit depends on repeated use and washing; this is a Kansas brand connection, not local manufacture.
WHAT USERS & REVIEWERS SAY Multiple use reports
Coffee forums show repeated use of Lino cups and specific praise for the handle; a collector explicitly seeks 10 oz branded Lino mugs.
Scope: notNeutral Lino design family, including 10 oz; not the PT’s logo edition specifically.
Keep in mind: Some discussions cover 6 oz or 12 oz versions. This supports the mug design, not demand for PT’s merchandise or a measurable environmental saving.
